Esmeralda is the name my first teacher of Arabic Dance gave me. I accepted without questioning! She believed in me so much that I didn't have time to doubt!
I'm a mother, only daughter, the curious kind!
Even though its not easy and I do fail sometimes, I try to be my best everyday!
Twenty years of my life has been dedicating to Arab Dance, and counting...
Twelve of this years was living the Arab Life and dancing in Arab countries (United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Tunisia, Algiers, Morocco, Siria and Lebanon).
This were my homes and my schools!
With time, some mistakes, 2 depression crises, studies about society, history and everything related (still do!) together with my own way of summing all of my beliefs and values into my movements and image, I GOT HERE!
It was never easy but experiences gives you something better than easy: it gives you strenght!
"IF I HAD LABELED IT A HOBBY, A PASSION... THEN IT WOULDN'T HAVE LASTED LONG ENOUGH TO CHANGE MY LIFE!"
Today, I am a Master Teacher, Soloist and Choreographer in 32 countries and counting...!
Honoured to teach women all over the world about this ART that changed my life!
My goal as a teacher is to make you move your body while feeding your brain!
Expression, Discipline and Empowerment are my guides!
I am so proud and aware of my blessings and the responsibility that comes with being able to reach so many people. I did dream big but life really surprised me...
To be continued.
